Fingers are sore from bending the thick and hard stainless steel wire (1x3mm) for pendant but I will still keep using that wire Just love that look - a bit rough and tough, different from the typical round/square wires.
The red color of beads is best visible in good lighting conditions. In dull lighting they look slightly brownish.
Length of necklace: ~51cm Height of pendant: ~8 cm Size of onyx beads: ~6mm
I bet you could make a fine profit by making Avatar: The Last Airbender inspired necklaces. In the middle instead of the swirl perhaps using the Avatar symbols for the four elements. Just a suggestion.
Of course! Your work is gorgeous and I sure as hell couldn't do it. Anytime I work with wire it turns out.... much less polished and much more bent up then yours!
Well, it depends on the wire how polished it would be. I have some 316L stainless steel that is already polished to perfection and I don't have to do anything, and some 304 grade which is dull and needs a hell lot of polishing... For those who have jewelry tumbler it's a piece of cake... put ready made metal items in it and enjoy... I can't afford it yet, unfortunately. With silver - even my ones are not perfectly bright and shiny. Well, I do my best...
